Our Values

The BiOH® polyols team has spent time defining our values. Things like integrity, environmental responsibility, helping our communities, and stretching our imagination are some important things in our business. In doing so, we realized that our brand was not about foam ingredients, but rather it revolved around a lifestyle of making a difference – both for the environment and in our communities. The idea to create an online community for people that share the values of our team was born.

We won’t hide behind the fact that we are a business. While visiting the BiOH Experience, we hope you’ll also learn a bit more about products made with our soy-based BiOH polyols. But we also want this site to become a community for sharing ideas and resoures that we all can learn from.

We talk about learning and change in the context of a journey. Making changes in our lives to minimize our impact on the environment is a journey. Identifying ways to use less petroleum is a journey. Addressing many of the challenges in our communities is a journey. We learn about the issues, we evaluate options, and then we take a step. There are a lot of steps to take. Yet the nice thing about a journey is… that every step counts.
