Sittin’ on Soy from Bauhaus USA

Welcome to the Soy Style: Did you KnOH? contest. To enter the contest, all you need to do is read the daily post (now through July 26), leave a comment, and you’re entered to win $100 each day!

With a commitment to value, quality, and consumer satisfaction, Bauhaus USA offers upholstered furniture for a range of lifestyles. Bauhaus has been manufacturing furniture in Mississippi for twenty years, and they became a part of La-Z-Boy in 1999. Their product line includes a variety of sofas, sectionals, and chairs that range in styles from traditional, casual, or contemporary. We first connected with Bauhaus in early 2007 when they started using soy-based cushions made with BiOH® polyols; today they continue to use soy foams across all of their upholstered products.

We captured a couple videos in their showroom at High Point market to highlight some of their latest styles. This first clip features a red, leather sofa that definitely catches your eye!

And here’s a look at a sofa and two chairs that showcase clean lines and different fabric options. They all look so comfortable that you’ll likely wish you could try them out as you’re watching!

Bauhaus products can be found through many furniture and department stores around the United States including Macy’s, Raymour & Flanigan, Havertys, HOM Furniture, Nebraska Furniture Mart, and many more. Next time you visit one of these stores, look for the Bauhaus collections and styles. Take a seat and let us know… how does it feel to sit on soy?

Sitting on soy foam feels like a nice quiet distraction. . . with a bit of a bounce to it!

Family, Eco, and Design Friendly! Bauhaus needs to be in my house!

The best comment in the video was that they are family friendly! Not only do I love the design but a stain friendly covering is somthing that I have to take into consideration with a three year old! Good to know that is an option!

The other visual I noticed is the mixing of textures, shape and design within one grouping of furniture. I like this because then you could incorporate new furniture as your budget allows and not feel that you have to conform to a “set’ I like all the options!

Our Soy Style winner for the Bauhaus post is…. Kelli Weber! We agree that family friendly furniture is important when you’re living with a three year old. Thanks to all of you for participating!
